What do I need to have in place before I sign up?
Ritual Compass is a strategy and planning service, not a build service, so you'll need your email foundations already in place. That means a Klaviyo account properly connected to Shopify, at least your core automated flows live, a sign-up form capturing subscribers, and an email template system your team can build campaigns from. If any of those aren't in place yet, Ritual Foundations is the right starting point.
You'll also need to be driving consistent traffic to your store and have a library of product and lifestyle photography to bring your emails to life.
Ritual Compass requires a minimum three month commitment, which includes your onboarding month. After that it rolls on a 30 day notice period, so you're never locked in long term. The three month minimum is there because email strategy builds momentum over time and I want to make sure you're seeing real results before you make any decisions about continuing.
It's common to need more campaigns during busier periods like product launches, seasonal promotions, or key trading moments. Additional campaign outlines beyond your monthly tier are available as a paid add-on. We can discuss this during your monthly planning meeting when we can see what's coming up and plan accordingly.
The monthly optimisation time covers maintaining and improving what's already in your account. That includes updating images and promotional banners in flows, small copy edits, updating flow logic, A/B test setup, and building new sign-up forms. It doesn't cover building new flows from scratch, creating new emails within existing flows, major copy rewrites, or significant redesigns. If you need any of those, they're available as paid add-ons and can be scoped and quoted separately.
